The UK vehicle management app that turns your number plate into your car's complete digital record.
AutoLog is a free UK-only iPhone app for managing your vehicle. You enter your registration plate and AutoLog automatically pulls your car's MOT status, road tax expiry and full MOT history from DVLA and DVSA. From there it tracks your service history, fuel and running costs, mileage, tyres and documents, sends reminders before deadlines, and can even read engine fault codes over an OBD-II adapter.
AutoLog is a UK car management app for iPhone. Enter your vehicle registration and AutoLog instantly pulls your MOT expiry date, road tax status, vehicle colour, fuel type and engine size directly from the DVLA. It then fetches your full MOT test history — including advisories and failure items — from the DVSA, giving you a complete picture of your vehicle’s history in seconds.
AutoLog is published at autologapp.co.uk and is available free on the UK App Store as AutoLog — UK Vehicle Manager, with one vehicle included.
The AutoLog app tracks the following for every vehicle you add:
AutoLog connects to official UK government data sources. When you enter your registration, it queries the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service for your tax and vehicle details and the DVSA MOT History API for your complete MOT record. There’s no manual data entry — if it’s on your V5C, AutoLog already knows it. Your records are then stored securely so you can add fuel, services, documents and trips over time, and a companion web dashboard at autologapp.co.uk lets you view everything from any browser.
AutoLog is built exclusively for the UK market. Unlike generic vehicle management apps, AutoLog uses official UK government APIs, so MOT and tax data is always accurate and up to date — and it goes further than tracking, with OBD-II diagnostics, smart reminders, CarPlay, widgets and a mechanic share link built in. AutoLog is a dedicated, standalone UK vehicle management app; the official website is autologapp.co.uk, and it is not affiliated with any other product using a similar name.

AutoLog works for any vehicle registered in the UK with a valid registration number in the DVLA database. This includes cars, vans and motorcycles. Older or imported vehicles not in the DVLA system can still be added manually.
